Hello all, I am learning DSA on scalar. My only dream company is Microsoft .for me package and level doesn't matter. Just development role so minimum sde 1. And optional if possible wfh. I have 7 years of experience in DOTNET. I am NOT much confidence in DSA. So I need help and guide and support how can I join Microsoft. Right now possible? as I am already learning DSA and not much salary requirements. So can they take me as sde 1. Any view and guidance help to impossible to possible.
Hi Guys,
I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy. Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

Yep - for 8 years now actually
Wow! You might actually be a pioneer of the WFH lifestyle haha
Sadly, no. Been back to in-person work since the second the restrictions were lifted. I envy those whose role allows WFH, but mine is definitely not one of them.
Ah sorry to hear that, did you try looking for other jobs that would allow WFH?
Been fully remote since I graduated in 2020
Oh yeah there was an adjusting period for sure, but I think I became more disciplined and focused because of it. Working in my PJs is probably one of my favorite perks haha
Yup, going on two years fully working from home now!
Thankfully yes, my workplace was smart enough to figure out we could save on costs by having everyone just work remote and we even got raises because of it
I thought this was obvious, but mine decided that we should just keep blowing money on office space. Oh well...
Yes and I'm doing better than ever! It's such a delight to be able to work from home and have my pets with me at all times lol
unfortunately not, my boss is a bit old school so he wanted us back in there ASAP
Oh yeah, I was lucky enough that my role was deemed to be optional whether or not I wanted to return to the office. Like hell I was going back there haha
Not fully but we have flexibility to only show up to the office 3 days out of the week so it's not too bad
Yes, going on for 3 years and I love it!
Yes and I love it!
I see you're an event coordinator, though. So you don't even have to go on site for the events or see how they're coming together?
Yep, we still are! And we'll probably be staying this way for a while. We noticed how the team is actually more efficient and productive this way. It's the best thing to ever happen to us and we don't really see a reason for us to go back to working in-house.
We're still working from home since 2020. There are times when I would miss going to the company site just to work, but then again I remember that my setup at home is all nice and cozy. Then I appreciate working from home more after.
Nope. We are required to show up in the office/site now. Well, technically we're still on a hybrid.
I just returned to the office last month. I think it's much better than what I imagined. I enjoy the company of my workmates.
Thankfully, yes! Pajamas alllllll day.
Almost 3 years. I miss how it was before. I can't stand just working on my desk.
Nope. I'm already working on site. Beats having to stay cooped up in a room all day though.
