Is drinking 1 liter beer a day considered moderate?

If you put it in a 1L glass, no. Then it’s just 1 drink a day.

Jokes aside, probably a little more than I would recommend if it is literally an every day thing

likesmart

I wouldn’t think so, but not judging.

like

14 drinks or more in one week is considered alcoholic. 1 litre is 3 plus beers per day 21 beers per week

like

SM2 - again, the article discusses the definitions of heavy drinking and binge drinking - both of which are lifestyle habits. It does not define alcoholism (a disease) as 14 drinks per week.

If you're Czech, a litre a day is light. For Americans I'd say it's moderate - although it's considered more normal to take it easy during the week and binge on the weekends

uplifting

The issue is more so the daily drinking than the 2.5-3 beer total. Take a week off, if you get the hand shakes and/or you notice you’re shorter and angrier than you tend to be normally, you have the beginning of a problem (especially the former).

If you can dead it and have no drawbacks, I wouldn’t stress it. But I would test it every two months or so, if just to give your liver a break.

Drinking daily isn’t a good habit to get into.

I literally had 1.0L of beer at a German beer restaurant today and I would say it’s pretty moderate. It’s about 3 bottles of beer. Doing it every single day is a bit excessive tho

like

1 liter .. you be tripping homie

If u don’t want your liver, you can donate it to me

A liter a day will make you fat before long. And it's gross. Stop that.

A liter is a lot, but one litre is fine

Hi everyone,
So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
