Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) Work Life Balance is so subjective and doesn't give clear picture of any org.

For Instance, Person A less skilled/in learning phase will work for longer time to deliver task A

While Person B more skilled/ more experience will take less time to deliver task A.

There will be more reasons too. And some exception too

My friend was hired for the management consulting team in one of the big 4 for a new service line that was incorporated this year. He joined in April 2021. Since then he has been put on bench with no actual projects. Only training and few support projects without any actual hours.
