1) Average expected package of an associate
2) Average experience expected at ZS to get hired at associate (not BCN)
3) Good books to upskill and ace the consulting case interviews

I have a counter offer with more package than the Microsoft. Do they have a policy of blacklist the candidate if I change my mind after accepting the offer?

Hi Fellow Fishes! I need some urgent advice. I had accepted a job offer at a really good company with a good role and team. I am due to start that new job on Monday 30th Aug. Now the thing is I have a better job offer from one of my dream companies-i would be really stupid not to take that offer. So I would be declining the job at the first company just 2 days before i am supposed to start! I know its a good problem to have but a very unpleasant conversation with them. How do i soften the blow?

Hi all, negotiating with HR on salary for a new AS position and want to know what’s fair. I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. All of my agencies have been large, I’ve worked on pharma and a large global account, I also started “managing” at the AE level due to my team’s structure. Is $80k fair? Thanks!

Some days I'll make around $200 and other days only $50 and it's really not stable at all.

Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? For people who have a lot of friends, do you make the effort or it comes naturally? I mean when my friends call me, sometimes I would ignore or take a really long time to respond purposely, I also tend to not to reach out to people proactively. Therefore, I don’t have many friends. Is it me or people around me?

I’m a creative / tech innovator applying to McKinsey and the other big four. However, I’m now concerned my limited on-the-fly math skills will automatically count me out. Seems like the interview process weighs on that. Im wondering if I need to hire a math tutor to help me get up to speed. Or, wondering if those of us who are more creative can get away with less than ideal math skills. What’s the reality?
