Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Get the Amex Gold and CSP instead
I have CSP. CSR is only worth it if you deliberately use the benefits. Have to travel a lot too.

They’re only worth more if you use the portal, which is a pretty poor use of points imo
I think it’s worth it if you travel and dine out all the time and are also willing to commit fully to the chase ecosystem (also get the freedom and freedom unlimited) and pool points together, and are looking to do at least a few international trips a year. When i fit this demographic the card was wonderful. These days, in a different stage of life so i downgraded and don’t really use anymore.
Depends where you live and how much you travel. If your local airport has a centurion lounge then Amex Platinum is generally better
It’s still the best credit card there is

Love it personally but I also get to book work travel on my personal card

I travel a lot and spend a lot of time at airports (excluding work travel). I eat out a lot and order doordash a lot. It's well worth it to me
I liked it when the fee was $100 less. I’ve been struggling to see how I’m benefiting since they increased it recently. But I haven’t done anything about it since I already have the card lol. I don’t travel a lot anymore since Covid but maybe I’ll feel more positive about it once I start traveling again. I agree it’s worth it if the above folks’ comments apply to you though.
Yes! And you really have to think of it as a $250 annual fee because you get $300 in instant travel credits each year (Uber/Lyft included)
