Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Take a short term disability leave and get a full physical work up. Many things could lead to these symptoms including sleep apnea, migraine, long COVID, etc. Also check in with your therapist/psychiatrist in case your mental health situation was changed.
An FMLA covered leave should hold your job while you sort this out.
Seconding this—get bloodwork drawn and hormone levels checked.
I have felt this way for years, and I’m finally getting out of it. Please remain confident in yourself and your abilities. The more you worry the more fatigued you’ll feel. Are you taking weekends off to rest? At least one day? Not just to do chores but actually rest? Take regular breaks as you work like 5-10 mins every 50-60 mins helps a lot. You don’t feel as groggy at the end of the day. Also make use of the technology that’s currently available to us. Microsoft word has a read out loud function that helps me find errors I looked over during 5 read throughs. If you have trouble forming a sentence due to feeling fatigued, use ChatGPT for options. Meditation has been the most helpful. When I feel tired mid day, I do a 5 mins breathing exercise/meditation that helps me feel more wake. It’s better than coffee. I use the Balance app for meditations. They also have meditations that help when you feel anxious or sad. Once you start getting positive reviews at work again, you’ll find your confidence again and won’t feel as fatigued. In the mean time, be kind and forgiving towards yourself. Best of luck.
I can totally relate. While it’s important to try to be your best, remember also that you’re your harshest critic. I’m about to be a 10th year associate (gulp) and will prob get promoted soon. If I can hang on this long, anyone can!
