Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

Hi Team,
I gave and cleared all the rounds for TCS. Post that they asked me to update my documents on their portal, which i did last week.
But till now i am yet to receive the offer letter from their side.
Can someone guide me on this?? Is it normal to take this much of time? Tata Consultancy

It’s hard to see it right now, but your resilience will pay dividends later in your career. And this time will pass, you’ll get the job, and you’ll crush it. You got this OP.
Also, feel free to DM me your book.
It's funny but yeah, first thing you should do is change that title to Jr writer.
(You need to stop perceiving yourself as "an intern looking for full-time" and instead feel like "already working creative")
Then get more feedback on your book. It could be that it's not very strong or maybe perceived as such. So ask for a lot of crit from CDs. But also that's how you network. No one hires jrs as "candidates", they hire the potential you've communicated to them while asking for advice.
Don't only look at full-time. Ask for freelance. Don't do the "tests", say you're down to do a short term freelance project and see how it goes. Contact people asking for freelance.
Finally, it might be that your book needs more ideas and if all else fails, take another internship at a much better (!) shop.
Good luck 🌞
Hi! Your title Im says you’re an intern. Is this experience based on an internship application or a full time job application? If you feel I can help give guidance, please feel free to PM me.
What discipline are you looking for an internship in?
FWIW the intern-to-full time pipeline is how I broke into strategy post-graduation. And I had already had a few internships under my belt at the time too, but I could not for the life of me get any full time roles to even reply to my apps.
First of all, it's really hard to get your first full time gig, so don't beat yourself up. Secondly, I agree with changing your profile from intern to Copywriter here/on LinkedIn/wherever. Also, lean on any contacts you have from internships, ask them if they know of positions, if they know of other shops that are hiring, informative interviews, etc. And make your portfolio as strong as possible, that's what people will be looking at.
I ALWAYS ask for a signed agreement from the hiring manager that the project wont be used for production. this is because sadly, many companies "interview" creatives for free social work.
But i will tell you this- my first junior role post internship no one asked for a project. was a standard 3 level interview. post hire, i saw later in the cal notes that they said "i was too junior for the role but had potential". the right place will see your potential and will nurture you and train you up. but expect that to be more from smaller, lesser known agencies than big brands and shops
It took me almost a year to get my first full-time role after graduation & I had almost four years of internship experience. Keep your head up! I know it’s hard, but you’ll eventually land one...
