thanks all, all good tips. BCG1, taking break now. I've got 1 more live case tonight, then back to LOMs. going to get 9 more cases in like you suggested M1. i can do this....*deep breath*
Make the case a conversation and like a interesting solution exercise vs a very schematic "may I take a minute to write down profit = revenue - cost"
Take a break. Get back to it.
Prepare company specific types of cases, get feedback from experienced people, use LOMs from Victor Cheng if you haven't already, get at least 10 more live cases and a read up on another 10 to 15, but before all that, take a break
Good luck, you got it!
Are you doing them with people who know how to give real feedback/are casing you properly? I've seen a lot of people have tons of case prep, but no one calls them out on the small mistakes so by the 20th one, it's super hard to change them and even though they've been casing a lot, they've been casing improperly the entire time.
Just do more. The more you do, the more second nature it starts to feel.
I kno some people that did it but they said it sometime comes back after 5 or so years for some people but permanent for majority of people.
