I’m not sure I’d be investing much now unless you find a very very good deal. I have quite a few rentals in the area and actively looking to unload. Made good money over the last 10 years but definitely a challenge to move properties.
Williamson county - sure bet.
Do y’all self manage these rentals? What do you do in case of frequent home repairs, non-paying tenants, unexpected lease breaks due to tenants life changes? Also, do you have trusted contractors?
Agree that is a great area, but feels like the cost outweighs benefit…unless you’re just flipping 💁♀️
Just curious.
Side note is I don't think its good for the economy for big investors to dominate the single family home market. That is separate from solo investors owning a few properties. Not sure what the percentage is, but neighborhood values tend to decline when vacancies or rentals hit a certain percentage.
Taxes are crazy here you should invest in a better state.
Consider land over housing, which is overpriced.
Taxes just suck here for properties
