Just got told I cant move forward in a recruiting process because the parent company has a policy that only lets you talk to 1 agency at a time. The sister agency recruiter didn't give me an email to communicate with and did not bring this up, they cold called me at 9pm to do the screener right there on the spot. Any tips for how i should get a hold of the mystery recruiter so I can move forward with the position that told me about this policy? has this happened to anyone else/thoughts on policy

I think I may have finally had it.

A couple of decades in this field and now I want to just walk away. The grind in tech is soul-destroying, and the vast majority of the time, coworkers outside of UX have no idea what it is, what it’s for, and how it’s applied. I’m at my wits end and the constant problem is a kind of “willful misunderstanding” of our process and value.
