Any word on layoffs at JPM?
I was in the final stages of an interview with Microsoft two weeks ago, in partner marketing. Then the recruiter told me they were putting the hiring process on hold to assess the need for the role. Well, then we heard about Microsoft layoffs last week. Seems like most were in Xbox and Project Alpha but there’s not a lot of information out there. Should I hold out any hope that I’m going to get this job? Any insights on how much these layoffs have impacted the marketing org and/or new hiring?

Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. I feel pretty bad for South Korea. It's one thing to have an older brother who's away in the army but could conceivably come home and beat up the kid next door if things got bad - but now the older brother is drunk, belligerent, and standing on the neighbor's lawn screaming incoherently. C2 you said what I was thinking! It is astounding to me how the news is treating the same old NK in a completely different way, especially these annual military exercises. Just to level set everyone, this is a country with only something like 5 ATMs in the whole country none of which work. Their military is something like a 1960 military in terms of equipment capability. All this doesn't mean they can't do anything just that they should be kept in perspective.
