Revising my response above because it was reported.

401k match is bad. 50% of your first 6%. Honestly I just throw that in since I'm 100% vested now and the rest goes to a Roth IRA.

5 year vesting schedule and only paid out in March if you were employed on 12/31 and 1k hours.

Dental and vision are very competitive in my area, but I don't need glasses and my wife told me our vision is worthless, but I did submit our out of pocket to the insurer for a claim and it was well covered after the fact.

Health is bad. It's a HDHP in our area only, but I find the HSA match to be very competitive and honestly it's covered all of our health expenses the last few years + a good balance left over.

All big four has pensions on top of 401k match. So in total RSM retirement is pretty bad

I’m trying to buy my first house and my wife and I have a few IRAs from previous employers (Roth and non Roth). I read I won’t be penalized if I take out upto 10k from my IRAs for a first time house (except for taxes on the non-Roth accounts). Anyone know how true this is, how the process works, or have any advice? Is it a good idea

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

I'm 1 year out of college and recently inherited $400k and have another $120k saved up from internships and work.

I know the standard thing to do is DCA into an index fund/ETF but is there anything else I should be doing to invest my money and hedge against inflation. I'm just concerned with the political turmoil going on and trying to figure out what ETFs I should be investing in and how much I should be putting in every week.

How would you recommend investing the money?

So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?
