I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. What are the best reasons to go full-time after freelancing? I started freelancing a month ago after I was laid off thinking it would just be temporary but I’m really enjoying it so far. My stress levels are lower and the money is better. I have a few full time opportunities in the mix and I’m trying to gauge if I should go back to full-time or stick with freelance. For those who have taken a full time gig after a successful freelance run, what did you base your decision on?

Flew for the first time today. Woman next to me took her mask off immediately upon sitting down and starting chatting loudly with her son. I asked her politely if she could keep her mask on and she proceeded to spend the rest of the flight fake sneezing and laughing giving me the side eye to see my reaction. What an inspirational mother.

New England Friends: we are a couple in early 30s (No kids yet and a small dog) planning to move to New England from Chicago. Our options are Hartford, CT and Boston, MA. Below are few considerations - 1. SO does not need to travel and will commute to work and I might need to travel when COVID is over. 2. Will prefer a dog friendly neighbourhood. 3. Both are from Midwest so winter does not bother us. 4. Planning to sell our condo in Chi and buy a SFH in the location. Any recommendations?
