Massive layoffs at R/GA tomorrow. We have essentially lost most of our Samsung, Verizon and Nike business in last year. We’re losing a lot of good people tomorrow.

Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

When someone has a gap (up to 6 months) between a big law job and their first in house application, do you assume they were laid off? Would you advise a candidate to actively share why they took a break, if it wasn’t a lay off?

How am I expected to bill 1900 hours when I only have 8 cases and when I ask for work no one responds. I even asked the partner in person for work and he said he was slow and didn’t have anything for me.This month I’ve only billed 80 hrs. Does anyone have experience working for a ALSP? How does compensation work (pay and benefits)? Are you an employee or technically an IC? Do you have billable requirements like at a firm?
