Anyone in public mental health administration in a non-rvu outpatient child mental health setting? How do you calculate productivity rates, especially within a multidisciplinary setting including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers? Our current productivity rate is 55% which upper leadership wants us to increase to as high as 80% (!). I should mention this is all fee for service/non capitated contracts.

Employee benefits/exec comp associate here. I lateraled into a firm that sold me on great mentorship from the partners and ability to grow in areas that I need to grow in. Almost a year in and I feel like I am on a “one man island” with little new growth. Do I jump again? Or is this to be expected in BigLaw in this area of law?

On track to max out my 401k and will max my Roth IRA next month. I think I’ll have about 3k to invest by the end of this year before I can start putting contributions toward my 2022 Roth IRA. What do you guys think is the best place for that 3k? Should I max out my 401k faster? Diversify more into crypto (about 1/7 of my network)? One note is that I can’t do mega backdoor Roth.

Just curious, for others who transitioned in house from a firm, when did you fully realize/appreciate the benefits of your transition? I moved about six months ago and it’s taken some time to adjust, but I think I’m finally getting there. I have to laugh at how “busy” everyone claims to be all the time, clearly no where near law firm levels of busy. Just wondering what the light bulb moment was for others to think “yup, this is what I’d always been looking for.”
