My contract role will unexpectedly end before the end of the contract due to funding. I am really hoping to be SHRM certified this summer for possible resume booster to avoid uncertainty for future opportunities but I am skeptical and confident shot

It's been very difficult as a lot of recruiters only see the technical aspects of my previous role, even though I've added in some sales aspects from those roles. Any advice on how to break past the initial view of my resume/past technical experiences to get interviews?

Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Does that sound like a decent counter?

Hi! Recently discussed an associate graphic designer role with a recruiter. Is it reasonable to expect an 85k base in NYC? Am I underselling myself? They started with it being a 75-80k budgeted position. What are typical base salaries for someone with 4.5 ttl YOE? Does it matter that 3 YOE was in an adjacent industry?

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

My new company thrives off our internship program, with many of our managers/directors having started as one themselves. I’d like to create more of a structure to this program but not even really sure where to begin.
