my last CPA exam is audit, and i’ve been in audit for a year and 5 months now. I am slammed with working on a public job and cannot find time to schedule my exam. Should I wait until after?

Just because you’ve been in audit for a year and five months does not mean you don’t need to study for the audit exam. A lot of it is reporting requirements and actually looking at reports. I doubt you’ve had enough exposure to that aspect yet to not need to study. Wait until after your job and study before scheduling the test

like

I agree. I unless you’ve run complicated engagements and seen them front to back, you can’t skip studying. Way too much high level information tested that you don’t see your first or even second year

I also want to take it within this window

Wait until May.

Just quit and become a rapper.

I do spend a fair amount of time brainstorming. I don’t want to continue working here forever, but I’m struggling to generate that “this is it” idea to build a company for. Any advice?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
