Need advice. I applied for the Solution Engineering role at Salesforce and went through 5 interviews and then had a panel presentation at the end. Although I thought I did well overall I guess I was wrong because I got rejected.

Any advice? Can I apply for other SE roles at Salesforce or am I now black-listed?

Got offer from Salesforce for the role: Sr Platform Solution Engineer with salary 160k(70/30). Is it a fair salary with 6yrs of consulting exp and SE as the first time(total 6yrs of exp)? Location FL.

Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call. Replied that I often receive LinkedIn offers for roles of paycuts around 30-50% so I want to make sure we’re in the same rough range. Recruiter again said she would only share via live call. Is this a red flag?

Convo about mentoring came up recently. I suggested on a whim to a SE to find a sales rep mentor to learn about the mind of a sales person. Never tried it and now I am. Has anyone tried this?
