This year my goal is to actually eat more, but maybe cut out dairy from my diet slowly. I'm not lactose intolerant, but I've seen the difference in my skin when I did cut from it for a short while. It'll really help with clearing up my skin
That's a great idea! Isn't it amazing how our bodies give us clues to what's actually best for us?
I'm looking to adapt a more active lifestyle since my days usually consist of me just sitting at my desk all day. I'll be trying out pilates with a good friend of mine who is an instructor. I'll be starting next week!
Oooh, pilates is so good for you! Have fun!!
Mine are to continue my workouts 4-5 days a week and just eat healthy most of the time. But never say no to tacos. 🌮
Now that's a plan! Me too. I wanna workout more so I can eat more. I wanna have a healthy relationship with food this year.
As soon as I sit more, I get a big belly pooch :( so my resolution is to walk more, even when I'm wfh...I don't get time for outdoor walks so am aiming to do at least a certain amount of steps while I'm at home to make up the difference!
OMG same here! With my job, I usually sit for long hours. I will make a conscious effort to stretch and workout more.
Add more strength training to my workout routine
Always a great idea! :)
New year, slightly newer me! Haha. I have a simple NY resolution, I just wanna drink eight glasses of water a day. That's all for me.
That's one of the most important ones. So many people don't realize how important that is for your health. Kudos to you for getting it done!
I'm thinking about turning my bedroom into a sanctuary. No electronics, just silence and comfort. I have to do a little revamp of course. Will try aromatherapy as well.
Oh, that sounds nice!!
Begin to meditate at least 5 minutes a day. I've done meditations before and it really is helpful. However, I really can't find the time most of the time. So, this year is my year.
Enthusiast
Headspace even has 1-3 min meditations if 5 is too much for those busy days. Meditation has been a game changer for me 🧘♀️
To start wearing sunscreen. I think I am already too late in the game but who cares. This year I am gonna take care more of my skin.
I don't think it's ever too late. Every year you don't wear sunscreen, you're just increasing the damage to your skin. By starting now, you at least know that the damage isn't getting worse.
I want to prioritize my health over my career this year. I've burnt the candle at both ends last year. This year I want to do the right thing before I regret it.
Gain 15lbs, eating a lot
Awesome, get it!
Find a dentist I like and actually go regularly.
That's a great idea -- and so important for your overall wellness. :)
This year, I'll stay committed to my fitness journey. I just bought a smart watch to monitor my daily fitness activity. Let's go!
Lots of people love smart watches, fit bits, and the like. They make getting exercise feel extra rewarding.
I will be adapting a pescatarian diet for this year and maybe eventually cut off meat entirely, but I'll be starting out with red meats for now.
My family has a history of diabetes, so this year I'll be taking on the extremely difficult task of reducing my sugar intake. I'll be weaning it from here on out.
I just bought myself a Peloton to push myself to graduating from my sedentary lifestyles. I'm gonna make sure that the purchase is well worth it.
I have been abusing my body for not getting enough sleep even though I always have the chance to. So this year I promise my self that I will try my best to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep and avoid eating fast food.
I want to start eating healthy this year, it's something that I've been stalling for years. I feel this is going to be a nice year for me.
My goal this year is to try a new workout each week. I sometimes push back on workouts because it can get really boring. To achieve my fitness goal, this is what I'm planning to do.
Drink more water, sleep early (as much as possible) and exercise regularly (without excuses). I know these are pretty basic but I find it hard to accomplish them.
