“Reflecting on and adopting the use of micro-affirmations would be a positive strategy to prevent microaggressions. Micro-affirmations are small acts that foster inclusion, listening, comfort and support for people who may feel isolated or invisible in their environment. Focus on action, not avoidance – create new good behaviours.”
I am looking to identify committed Christians within Deloitte who would be interested in serving on the US board of a global non-profit committed to restoring the lives of those who have been traumatized via human trafficking or gender-based violence in SE Asia. Deloitte has been instrumental in partnering with Hagar International via pro-bono consulting and we would love to leverage this partnership on our US board.

Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

Bullshit. Again, even if you agree with the premise that women aren't as good software engineers on average as men due to biological factors (which is ludicrous, software engineering isn't the 100M dash) that's twisting the math. 50% or 100% or any other arbitrary target is an eminently achievable as long as you are looking for relatively small N in a large population. There are 3.5B women on the planet and Google only needs a few tens or hundreds of thousands, they could fill every seat with a talented female engineer if they wanted to.
This is using scientific facts to advance a false narrative. Yes, it is true that "women" on average are different from men on average. But that is basically irrelevant in most contexts, because in most contexts you are dealing with individuals. It doesn't matter if the average woman is shorter or weaker or more emotional or whatever else than the average man -- all that matters is whether the woman you are talking to is capable of doing the job. And there are plenty of women that can.
It's completely relevant BCG1 because the entire incident is the result of pushing for equal representation among genders in fields like software engineering. Of course there are many qualified women to be software engineers, but pushing for 50/50 gender representation without acknowledging biological realities is ignoring facts to advance an agenda
Let's start fighting 🐟
Prepare to be called a misogynistic pig by the FB mob. I thought it was a good article by the way even though it will be refuted. Best part was "But sexism isn't the result of knowing facts; it's the result of what people choose to do with them."
Or to put it another way: women are on average weaker than men, but I bet there are thousands of women out there who could kick your ass without breaking a sweat.
My favorite line was "But sexism isn't the result of knowing facts; it's the result of what people choose to do with them."
Also, the difference in these studies indicates that the mean is maybe 5-10% higher or lower on most of these measures. So sure, maybe 50-50 isn't reasonable but 45-55 should be, and there's no way Googles programming staff is at that level of parity
The best part was def "But sexism isn't the result of knowing facts; it's the result of what people choose to do with them"
I dont think females' research is credible. Try again.
