How much pure-play management and strategy consulting do they do? Or is it in the context of addressing a client’s technology problems? Is tech consulting work the long tail of any strategy and management consulting services?

I wanted Google since I started the whole interview process, but I am now not sure given the salary difference.

The position at Google is more junior and the team is just being formed, which involves more risk. However, I like the team at the other company.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.
