That's a reasonable salary, if you never come into the office and do nothing.. But if you're actually employed at that rate and working... You better get dinner because theyre fucking you

I feel it within my bones I'm getting robbed.

like

That is very low.

Woof. That's what's average senior 1s make in Seattle

I made $62k as a first year associate....

1st yr associate salary in Tennessee is $55000.

Seriously! For tax the manager range is $110k-$186k..I know the cost of living is less in Ohio but that's crazy

This sounds low

I'm also at 60K as a first year associate...

Are you serious? This is way too low for a manager!

Hey all, does Deloitte USI have a standard baisc salary % with respect to total fixed CTC ? Currently they (Deloitte USI HR) are telling 35% will be basic (3.5L for a fixed CTC of 10LPA). In KPMG, I am getting 50% of fixed CTC as basic. When I asked the basic pay to be made 50% of fixed CTC the HR told no 35% only possible.

I’ve only been with my company for a couple months but it looks like my title will change soon (title bump) and there should be some pretty cool added responsibilities. Should I bring up compensation or anything like that? I feel like I’ll be doing more work aligned to the direction I want to take my career but I also don’t want to look greedy since I haven’t been there for long. I have around 2 years of experience if that helps paint the picture. Also if yes, how do I bring it up?

I am wondering if we let the client pursue a workers comp claim with a workers comp attorney, will those claims affect our civil lawsuit claims at all?

Obviously my role is a rung on the ladder so my question is whether anyone has tips for things I can do to make sure my rung on the ladder gets optimally priced.

Really enjoy consulting, but might be getting an offer to go back into industry. Offer might be for 50%+ raise, but the annual raise and bonus won’t compare to consulting. Anyone face similar dilemma?

Hey ladies,
I got a great offer with a 25% base salary raise. It’s a tech start up and I do believe this product has great potential. Looking at Glassdoor it does have a lot of bad ratings about toxic environment, work on weekends and no work life balance. Total rating is 3.9. I currently work at Deloitte and an really tired of this place. I stagnated and I am desperate to leave. Would you take this opportunity or would you wait for the next one?

Now 4 months later trying to figure out how much independent study it's going to take to pass it. Any tips or encouragement? Would like to knock it out in the next 2-3 weeks.

I've dated 2 guys in the past and both shut down when they go thru high stress (e.g. culture shock when moving to a new country + high work stress, or something happens in their family). They dropped all communications and i was left wondering what happened. In both cases I asked and wished them well, but things just ended / fizzled out. My 9 month old doesn’t know her name…like, at all. Obviously, I have googled this, and I’m now terrified that something is wrong with her.

We call her a lot of pet names (she has maybe 5 on rotation that are used regularly), but we are trying to cut back on that and use her given name now. She says “mama” and babbles, she makes great eye contact, she’s super smiley, and she understands “no” - but she does not acknowledge or respond to her name at all. Has anyone else experienced this?
