Okay so I know this is a silly question but my boyfriend think there should only be one best friend and he is like very loyal to his best friend. But I found out today that his best friend think someone else as his best friend. Should I tell my boyfriend this? Feel like I would want to know if I were him :/ but I don’t want to make him sad

I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.

How should I approach her in the upcoming year?

Early mornings became my best friend once I had kids. Managing to put 2 to 3 hrs of work Sat and Sun before they are awake means that I get to spend more time with them during the day.

SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?

My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?

How do I deal with a parent who has become bitter and shrewd as they age? It’s exhausting and disheartening to be around because they used to be positive and happy. How do you know if you have good hygiene? my ex told me I don’t

This is my routine:
- I have curly hair, can only wash it once a week/put dry shampoo if needed
- I brush my teeth 2 times a day
- Wear deodorant / perfume every day (my way, and good girl) and shave off any hair (I did laser but still), as much as possible. Some days, I cannot keep up with shaving (especially if it won’t show)
- I wear pantyliners and change it once a day/ change panties once a day
- I shower my body every day

One of ex’s friends who is I met twice, has been in touch, him and his wife, like commenting on some of my posts occasionally (we are just fb friends and IG friends). I never saw them since. I am so tired of my sister and mom, and the pressure they apply on me to get married, 32 year old female and I have not met someone yet. It’s my birthday in a few minutes. 2021 has been a terrible year for me. My marriage ended. It wasn’t a bad end though. We are still close, just not romantic partners anymore. The very first dog I ever had died and I couldn’t go see her because of the quarantine. I didn’t get a promotion that I more than deserved. I don’t think I get paid well. Most of my friends moved out of the city and I’m having to meet new people at 32. I love my job but it’s incredibly stressful. I’m terribly lonely.
