Would venture to guess that you are mega screwed. I would leave today if possible

I don’t think MSP will be the problem (used to live there). I think BOS will be the problem (currently live there)

Haha, well...Godspeed then

Did you get one of those ominous emails yet allowing you to rebook for free?

CMH->BOS tmrw evening. Feel like I should just go ahead and book another night at the hotel...

You’ll be fine. They’re used to it. Been flying in/out of MSP for the last 4 months

Better chances than say....LaGuardia but would still try to get out tonight if you can. The flights tonight are starting to really fill up though. One I was trying to get in went from “wide open” to 5 seats left while I was in the phone with the agent.

Also, how involved are you REs? I’ve been through 2 retrievals now, but feel kinda in the dark still on a lot of things. Some of the nurses are hit or miss and if I want to talk to my doctor I have to schedule a consultation and its typically a 2 week wait.

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?

Hi all!! I am a first year master of urban planning student with a focus in economic development, spatial planning, and geospatial analysis and visualization (GIS, SPSS, R). I know guidehouse has a pretty robust state and local government consulting arm (and I would love to hear from any GH employees), but what other firms have strong local and state government practices? Does anyone work in this arena and would be willing to chat with me? Thanks so much!! Enjoy your Saturday 😊

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.
