Hi! I have a very demanding role as a comms director, but still make time to volunteer on the side for some women's organizations I am proud to support. Lately though, the work has been piling up and it's almost as if I have two full-time gigs. I've brought this up as graciously as possible with the orgs, but sometimes I feel I'm being guilted into taking on more work. Best etiquette in this situation? Job transition question: I recently accepted an offer for a new role with Merrill Lynch, the following day I was fired from my previous employer. I haven’t filled out the updated work history background check info yet. The reason for termination was due to performance expectations not being met. Should I reach out to my new employer and let them know that I’ve been terminated? Should I just put the termination update on the background check form and leave it at that? Wondering what I should do.

Salary for GM at AM/PM stores

For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow.
