I am sorry to read your post, being fired is hard on the ego. I can imagine all the sales team is bonding on negative emotions. Try to focus your energy on your career and your next job, instead of retaliation. It will be more rewarding in the long run. Good luck and stay positive!

What is their go forward strategy to sell their offering with no sales force? I suspect if you all band together and hire an attorney you might be able to negotiate a better exit package.
Great question... we have asked ourselves the same thing. CEO said he will rebuild the sales team
Sorry to hear - but energy is best spent finding something new. At will work means exactly that - unless there was discrimination against a protected class…
You should be able to qualify for unemployment. The company pays unemployment insurance for this reason. You should get anywhere from 55-60% of your salary until you find a new job. You will have to report weekly of your job seeking efforts to your state unemployment hotline.
Sorry to hear this. But I agree with the other comments saying that you should focus your energy on finding new opportunities. Legal actions take longer and they might even drain all your resources. There's a slim chance of winning if there's a violation or discrimination.
Legally it depends in which country your contract is

In United States labor law, at-will employment is an employer's ability to dismiss an employee for any reason (that is, without having to establish "just cause" for termination), and without warning, as long as the reason is not illegal (e.g. firing because of the employee's race, religion or sexuality).
Are you in california by any chance? If you are, they are legally required to give you your last paycheck on the same day you were let go. For every day that you don’t get your last paycheck, you are owed monies equal to what you would’ve gotten on a normal day for up to 30 days. Each state has different rules so would google laws for your state regarding last paycheck. Other than that, consult with a lawyer on what else you can pursue. I just know of that since it happened to me, I ended up filing with labor commissioner and got paid.

If you are in California they have to pay you immediately upon termination and if they don’t you can get a days pay up to 30 days!
How large is this company? No severance at all?
