Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?
Where da audit staff at?
The job search is so nerve wrecking.

We pay pretty top notch, also worth noting that a higher percent of each level at S& will get a top bonus when compared to other firms. Certain groups also offer extremely fast promotions if you can perform
20% hit top tier
By highest and fastest, I assume you mean speed to move up and compensation as you move to partner ?
This business is about compensation growth through promotion, speed of promotion possibilities and then profit distributions for successful partners in profitable partnerships.
Damn I recognize P1 anywhere 👀
Us and A&M I expect.
I’M PEPI MAS so probably just differences within PEPI
Probably LEK overall
For top performers I'd say OW and LEK are similar, although LEK has the upper edge. For all others LEK pays better. Kearney also have profit share which is nice but I don't think it makes up for LEK bonuses. For role fast track those are similar.
Important to note that you're missing some T2s there and some other firms tagged are not T2 (for example, A&M pays very well on good years).
In short, LEK pays better if you're solely looking at comp among T2s, although some firms (like A&M) have agressive TCs as well
Damn the number gets higher everytime someone posts about it...
I’m surprised to see people saying LEK/S&. Alix and A&M almost certainly pay better, primarily due to the fact that they use a slightly different bonus model driven by their focus on turnaround and restructuring focus. Their base salaries are similar to MBB / T2 but their bonuses are on average 20-30% higher. Note, there is also more variability, and those higher bonuses are tied to lower wlb (or so I’ve been told anecdotally from folks at those firms).
McK1 - TRS does rx work. Can do strategy work in our corporate strategy and transformation group (recent Galt acquisition). We do strategy + execution ..think McK RTS/ implementation teams. No up or out, senior teams, and can dictate career growth pace are also a plus.
LEK for sure
TC, 100 base 25 bonus, also 5 signing
Lek for sure pays better than OW
OW2 what does OW pay look like for first 3-4 years
If I were to guess overall comp for an average performer pre-partner controlling for tenure:
LEK>>S&>Kearney>OW>=EYP
Not sure about alix/a&m
EY-P pays more than S&...
Associates in PEPI who are <= 100% utilized can make 220 -240+. Obviously gotta work hard for it but trying to provide context of upside at A&M
LEK
Is LEK into automation/AI space … is it mostly strategy or have projects on delivery, solutions, implementation etc. as well ?
We do implementation too, just not nearly as much. Have a growing O&P group. All levels have same total comp regardless of industry or location (within the US). SM is only a little higher than m, slightly above 400k tc
