Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG
Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

The US Grant Hotel to stay at, spg.
I miss living in SD given this post you guys...
US Grant
What are you into OP? You could have a downtown party experience with high end restaurant, San Diego beach bum, or foodie/hipster. Would really change my recommendations.
2nd US Grant, or if you're Marriott the Marquis Marina. Favorite eats, Bottega Americano, Catania in La Jolla, and Red O (also in La Jolla)
Oscar's (multiple locations) - Octopus tacos are bomb.
There's a sushi place hidden in Carlsbad that's Michelin star rated. It looks like a whole in the wall, but apparently a top sushi chef is there.
Puesto, Lucha libre, agree with oscars. Rbsushi has good sushi and an unlimited price which is reasonable and includes apps. Saguaros in north park has best carne Asada fries. Underbelly in north park has best ramen you'll ever eat
I used to live there! So here goes the recommendations- South beach bar and grill on Taco Tuesdays for dirt cheap delicious tacos and a great view of Ocean Beach (OB). I agree with the Puesto rec above. Carnitas snack shack, The Crack Shack, all the hole in the wall Mexican places (legit! Gotta get a California burrito, you'll never eat burritos the same). Pacific beach has a ton of bars/restaurants but it's more of the college/fresh outta college scene. North Park is the hipster neighborhood. Hillcrest is the LGBT neighborhood. Coronado beach by the Hotel Del is my favorite beach and the drive over the bridge is amazing. Torrey Pines has a good easy hike with amazing ocean views. La Jolla is the wealthy neighborhood. Downtown Gaslamp is all the bar/clubs. Little Italy is more the serious young professorial crowd. Lots of good restaurants. Must hit up many of the breweries in SD, ballast point, belching beaver, and modern times are my favorite!
Omg thanks y'all 🙏🏽
D1- I'm more into food. Lots of food. Love brunch and especially desserts. Mexican and Thai are my go to
