Take a leave of absence if you need to!!! Or look into short term disability. The firm is very flexible on this end. Also if you're in a position to work after a LOA but need to be remote, just bring it up with your engagement team. I have seen several people work remotely for extended periods of time due to health reasons and it did not affect their performance or how they were viewed by others. Most importantly though, please take care of yourself and hang in there! Sending healing vibes your way :)
Recently experiencing something similar. I spoke to my RP, engagement partner and another mentor of mine who all agreed health comes first. Not always fun to let people know what you’re going through, but they’ve been flexible with my travel to make doctors appointments and also suggested a medical leave of absence if I need it. I might try talking to your team and see if something similar is possible!
This is one of the areas where our firm really excels in a non-bullshit way. People are super receptive to this kind of need. Talk to your team and you will find them receptive to working with you on this.

Sounds like all 3 of us are in similar boats. I've had a very flexible team who has also encouraged me to take as much time off as I need to to take care of myself. Everyone understands that health comes first.
