IMHO 12K RSU doesn’t sound much, probably shud be an additional zero (120k) there.

Lol not for 2 YoE
I wouldn’t take this offer unless you really liked it (and even then you should negotiate). I would not jump unless you are unhappy unless you were getting a minimum 25% increase in base.
My friend started off at 130k base with just internship experience about 4 years back. I think they low balling you
Understandable. But I just feel given the market and your yoe you need to ask them to raise the base and rsu
Depends on what you can use the relocation for, otherwise that’s similar to a non-MBA SC offer in consulting for a tier 2 city for someone with 4-6 years. Also depends on what your current salary is. If it’s less than 95K then it would be a go for me tbh.
Yeah the 2 years is tough because now you are tied to that company for 25K if u leave early.. so that always makes me weary of these kinds of offers. If this were me I’d only take this offer as a 2 year plan and look for another job once at 4 yoe to get to 150-160K base.
I would think of it as 123k + 1/2 the clawback amount. So it’s 123k + 12.5k = 135.5k. Not bad for 2 YOE but if you have any technical skills at all you could do better without any clawback
When you say technical skills, do you mean coding? My background is in Mechanical Engineering so I have design/hardware engineering internship experience
