JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling havenβt replied to my emails on what comes next and havenβt scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

No matter the size of the agency, a PM's work is to be the glue between all those "depts/tasks".
Being asked to PM a team of copywriters and biz devs is one thing, being asked to write copy and bring in new accounts is a whole other world.
Be the PM you are and ask precise questions to get the precise answers you need to make the best educated decision.
Because Context Matters: if by Small Shop you mean something along the lines of a 5-person startup/boutique agency, then that's another story.
Then yeah, maybe I'd expect/hope you'd bring an account or three along with you, and for you to occasionally have to wear many hats.
All about what you want out of your Life/career.
Id ask for a more detailed list - and if you will be supporting those functions as a pm or expected to do those functions Independantly
That sounds like they want you to be an entire agency. Iβd have a discussion with them about your skillset, and say you want to makes sure itβs properly aligned with their needs. (I donβt think this will scare them away, it should reassure them that you want to do a good job for them.)
I think about this skill set as an uppercase βTβ. In the middle you have your core deep skill set, and two steps to other side you have shallow ones. Beside that are things you donβt know, but could learn. But you wouldnβt want to overdevelop without changing what the core of your T is.

I spent almost 2 years at a small agency - you have to be flexible. At times is awesome and a great learning experience. At times the lack of structure and help is exhausting. The former keeps you going. The latter kills you. You can be a strategist, an account person, stock the kitchen, fix the projector, and write a CMO deck in the same day.
The client relationships matter so much more [ultimately a toxic client drove me away]

I had 4 titles at my first ad agency because it was small. It was crazy but I learned fast what I liked and didnβt like.
