We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.

Well, you should generally should always have your toe deep in interview processes. Just practical/good advice. This profession breeds mercenaries at all levels, and you're putting yourself to get burned if you're not. Trust me. I've been burned in the past.

That stinks. You have to ask how you can get staffed on cases that are important to the firm.

Follow your instincts. Not being staffed on consequential matters is a key clue.
Were you affirmatively told you’re still on partner track during your last review? It may be that these 2 partners believe you are not on track.
I would develop an exit strategy — whether it’s a new job or simply to ride this out until you are given an end date.

You should just be open to lateralling in general to be honest this is how you get ahead in this profession these days is moving around a bit
