Oh wait, coordinater and confidant to the chief people officer, or c3po.
Haha! (love it)^3
Thank you again to everyone who replied! I wanted to provide an update:
I got the role, the title is Director of People Strategy & Operations, and the offer matched my consulting comp. I very happily signed. 😁
Congrats that’s great!!
Assuming you’re already in some form change management, organization development is the more commonly recognized term for those unfamiliar with OCM. Newer term but I think it’s becoming more highly recognized
Thanks! I lean toward Org Dev. OCM feels like just part of the role, i.e. how you roll out the strategies.
What about...chief of staff 😂
Haha! I'd be open to it, but I get the sense it wouldn't fly there.
Deputy cpo
Thanks! I'd be open to it, but it might cause bad blood with the CPO's current team.
I’d probably say Director of People or something like that. How did you find the role? Sounds awesome!
Networking like crazy! I've only gained any traction that way. All my applications so far have been ignored or rejected.

Related question— what compensation are you expecting in a role like this? How does this compare to you current compensation? How many years of experience do you have?
I'm aiming to roughly match my current total comp via salary, bonus, and options. I have about ~15 years of work experience, ~1/3 of that in consulting.
