Should I invest 5k here?

I don’t get why even the most reputable financial news still try to attribute market moves to people. It’s not individual investors who are in control of day-to-day moves anymore, it’s algorithms.

I am going to buy AntShares aka NEO bigly. It has a potential to go to 100$

I had 50% in VT and 50% in individual stocks in my brokerage account but I just accepted a job from a Big 4 so I need to sell some of my individual stocks. I need to invest that amount in something else and I want to tell my portfolio a little bit towards something that’s a bit more risky for higher potential returns. Live in a HCOL area. Looking to buy in the next year. The least I can afford to buy would put a mortgage at 40% of my monthly take home pay (post tax + max out 401k) but 25% of gross income. Will 40% of take home pay make me house poor?

Why do 403b have such I fees? I almost want to stop contributing all together or just minimum 6% to meet the match. Possibly just rely on the pension but what if it’s underfunded when I retire?

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

Hello! just got an offer from Amazon for Global Product Marketing Manager for PAE (payments).
TC: $223k for 1st year (156k base, $64k sign on for 1st year and $50k for second year, with 46 shares - vesting 5% on 1st year anniversary, 15% on 2nd year and 20% every 6months on 3rd and 4th year).
I understand this is a L6 role and would like to understand where I am in the total comp range (from a %) and what is the max this role and level and pay (given that I understand next salary jump to L7. Tx!
