Single Father/Mother who divorced within months or years of marriage, Do you regret getting married to he/she? . How is your life going now, any better?

It’s been 3 years since I (27F) moved to Seattle and still don’t have a solid social circle. Not necessarily a big group… I’m talking 3-4 friends who are easy going and not flakey/ hard to make plans with.

Idk if it’s due to Covid, Seattle freeze, a combination of the two or other factors. Any transplants out there who are NOT the outdoorsy type and feel the same? And if so, how did you get past it?

Why is that I always end up alone? Everyone I love, family, friends, romantically, either moves away, breaks up or dies. Am I so unlucky? #ForeverAlone

Has anyone actually found love at work? My best friend started at a new company 6 months ago and she just took an offer somewhere else because she and her senior manager fell for each other. After 6 months she knew it was worth leaving her job for! I've been working at the same place for three years and I went on one date with a guy who didn't even work with me he just worked in the building. What am I doing wrong.

Dyslexia! After having our kindergartener son tested (privately) related to ADHD, we were told he may have dyslexia too (which would explain why he struggles so much with phonics but is amazing at sight words). He has a very high IQ. As a voracious reader, I am finding myself unexpectedly distraught that something that I have loved so much will be such a struggle for him, and worrying that it will affect his motivation and may steer him away from things he may otherwise love.

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says).
