Slalom doesn't travel.

It's almost all implementation that feels like staff aug.

Not really. Our market does some strategy work that's not tied to strict implementation but is certainly more grounded in operationalizing said strategy recommendations. I see the staff aug comment on here a lot but that hasn't been my experience in the years I've been here.

Funny because - there are so many better opps for WLB within your current co — both within strategy, and also other parts of biz. Which group in strategy are you now? May want to consider switching internally, while you have nothing to lose — also rebuilding internal networks at new firm takes time, and could impact time to next level.

The fastest route to WLB at your same pay would be internal. Offering development senior principal if you like creating thought leadership, helping build out offerings for partners, and don’t mind working in ppt.

Senior Principal. Ask for $200k if you are in a HCOL. Yes, you can work 50 hours/week and get away with it. No travel is nice. You may get bored in a year and find yourself with not many exit options.
