Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

What if it’s all 9 of them at once at a really long conference table?!? Kidding. They’re interested in you, and there’s a burden on them to impress you as well. Don’t make it all about your pressure. And I’d bet at least 1/3 of those people don’t make it.
Oh, and try to escape to the bathroom in between the different chats just to catch your breath and make sure your zipper is up.
Thank you! Will remember this.
I read once that an interview is best thought as a conversation. Think of it as a party convo.
Be yourself. Not cliche, simply be you. No pressure in that thought. Everyone loves to hear themself. Get them talking. Ask and listen. Say what they back in different ways.
Take mental or literal notes on what individuals said and make ‘thank you’ notes with that info. All individual.
Definitely agree! Thanks!
You are also interviewing them to see if you want to even work there.
Was just going to say the same! Don’t forget you aren’t on trial. You are also interviewing them to see if they are good enough for you!
Wear clean pants!!
Make sure you drink plenty of water throughout, those types of interviews involve talking for such long intervals
Sorry, going by your title of Jr. copywriter and trying to reduce your stress!!
If Hillary can do it, you can too

You might want to use the bathroom before the interview.
I use the toilet before any activity—especially stressful ones.
Agree, half will cancel. Some will double up. Everyone is busy, likely interested and no disrespect, but it’s a junior position so likely by now just want to make sure you don’t have three heads!!
Who said it’s a junior position? It’s not! Us juniors do move on up ya know ;)
And, honestly, you don’t know who Hillary is??
Well the joke needed more context. As a political wonk, I know about her endless hearings. But the joke needed to say “If Hillary could do 20 hours of congressional hearings, you can do 3 hours of interviews.”
Sorry...I’ve been creative directing all day.
It’s actually a Royal Rumble. If you’re the last one left standing in the ring the job is yours.
See now this I can get with.
Oof!
