Starting Tax Manager salary in NY?

Hi Guys,

Please let me know the salary slab for a Senior Technology Business System Consultant for a Workday opening at Wells.

Is this position equivalent to AVP/VP?

My current salary is 30 LPA. Will I get 45 ish LPA CTC?

YOE: 8 years

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Anyone aware of the salaries and bonuses at Putnam investments? Didn’t find a bowl for the finance industry or specific to fixed income sector.

What can a senior 2 expect to receive as annual hike with strategic impact rating ?

Offered in company A: 12.30 lpa(all fixed) no probation period
Offered in company B: 11.70 lpa (9% fixed variable every six month) 6 months probation

I found out B's appraisal are slightly better than A's
Confused which should I join ?

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! I am concerned that if I make it through I’ll basically be poor in such an expensive city, not to mention the taxes. I also have a baby so child care I am sure is expensive. I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.

I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). I just got told they’re firing me. Should I expect severance? Have other people been fired for similar? What did you do with your career?
