Submitted a claim for tinnitus about 3 weeks ago and attached medical records showing I went to BAS when I was in service complaining of ringing in my ears. Mind you that was after my 2nd deployment and on the paper it clearly says tinnitus. They even gave me a 2 page print out on what tinnitus is at that time, and of course, the VA is asking me for additional evidence. Any advice on moving forward? Do I need to go to my PCP and get his own examination and opinion?

My friend is a heavy pot smoker for 8 years and was just exposed to people who tested positive for covid. Is he going to need a ventilator? He’s losing his sh*t and I don’t know how to be helpful while he waits for test results

Are people still live on here? I was diagnosed last year with ADD and I’ve tried two stimulants so far. I know they aren’t meant to be a magic pill but I’m still struggling with general tasks and feel like I’m doing the bare minimum. The Nurse has suggested I try non stimulants. What are peoples experiences with meds ? Did they work or not?

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension.
