If you move to a Roth, it’s entirely counted as income, so you’ll have a large tax bill (depending on the balance). Your new employers 401k will have a limited investment menu, so if you’re okay with that, you could role it in. If you want access to invest in anything, a rollover IRA would be your best bet.
Thanks I may opt for the rollover IRA
Also depends if you want access to backdoor roth. If you’re in a higher income bracket and wanting to do Roth contributions , I might recommend leaving it or rolling to new 401k that would allow you to continue this strategy. If this isn’t an issue, IRA is probably your best bet.
