Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

You need to let your boss know BEFORE the deadlines are missed. After the fact is too late, and no amount of ass-covering emails chains will do anything but make you seem useless for letting it happen at all.
You could say you did everything you could. But is that true? Did you ask your boss if you could pull the job(s) because the in-house agency was showing signs of being incapable? If you had done that, and nobody stepped in, then yes. You called it
Your boss needs to know. That’s one of the reasons why he’s your boss
Escalate and document
@SP1 is it unprofessional to let my boss know what’s going on? In his eyes it looks like I’m missing every deadline but in reality I’m doing my due diligence and I have receipts of every email
Move production away from in-house. Agencies would rather keep clients than make a few bucks from a video.
Sounds about right. We are told to bid our in house production for pretty much any project. But I would rather face the wrath of leadership than give in house production a job they can't handle. I would only trust them with very small and simple projects.
How have you not told your boss by now??? It's actually a method for getting shit done to pull rank in before it's too late. I have no idea how your boss hasn't noticed/asked yet either. Sounds like a shit show... 😣
Mine is garbage too. But you should be protecting yourself - follow up IN writing every time
Totally tell your boss! Make up baby step timelines and hold them accountable.
You should definitely make sure your boss knows about this. Create a folder specifically for any emails, IMs, Slacks, etc. where you’ve laid out deadlines they’ve missed. If you don’t have those things, start getting them so you always have proof you held up your end of the bargain!
