Thinking of moving from Chicago to San Diego. Currently making $170K + 10% target bonus and have offer for $300K + 30% target bonus. Anyone make a similar move? Trying to understand how far $300K goes in SD as I always hear nightmare stories about cost of living.

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? The sheer volume of work is exhausting and I haven’t taken a true vacation as we are a small company so if something urgent comes to my email I feel like I must respond. I was given an additional title and more responsibilities last year as well but only a 3% raise for it.
