Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual. We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Jesus. 12 years at 115k. Run away from fed
Eh about right. Low margin.
@M1 Commercial...took a slight pay cut because my salary was supposedly within the Manager band. Hopefully that means they expect me to make the jump fairly quickly...
@M1...boutique consulting firm that was heavily specialize in Learning Solutions consulting. It was only a $5K cut to get the brand name and broader scope of work. Bonus potential is also higher
Never ever ever take a paycut early on
Problem is I think I want to switch to corporate/internal communications and would likely have to take a significant pay cut. But isn’t happiness more important 😵🤢
Honestly sounds about right from what i heard. Commercial might be closer to 125 but not common.
Haha
That is spot on.
Ok thanks. So now the question is...is it enough to keep me at this hell whole 😂 I don’t think I realized what I signed up for in terms of BD and eminence
Very low......
What were you before PPD
Just got hired into Deloitte HC (experienced hire) as a SC at $136....I’m guessing no MBA for you?
SC1 are you MBA?
Yep
SC1, u federal or commercial?
It’s that amount b/c only Deloitte, Federal, and no MBA. Getting promoted to Manager after 7 years is pretty good though. If you were in Commercial you very likely would have needed an MBA or a couple more years in practice to make Manager.
What made u take the job if it was a pay cut? Where were you before?
Total comp, no pay cut...just base, but I feel you E1
I am 2nd yr Fed S&O manager at $115k. No MBA but 12 yrs work experience
