How did you guys know you wanted to stay in HR?
If it’s with a recruiter, they likely just want to know if you are within their salary range and discuss onsite vs remote expectations, etc. maybe ask 1-2 questions. Be prepared with your elevator pitch - “tell me about yourself” and “what made you apply to the role”.
I second this. Also come prepped with 1-2 insightful questions. It will show that you’re really interested.
Yeah I can tell you it’s about money. If you don’t want to do it just send the recruiter an email stating what your salary expectations are.
Talk about the projects you’ve worked on/are working on. Not too much in details cos you’ll need that for the main interview, but bring them up.
It's most likely going to be just money talk. Research ahead for the average salary range of the position you're applying.
Is this your first interview? They may just want to ask some questions about your expectations for salary. If it's the first interview, they probably have a couple questions to get to know you.
I’m in a similar situation, looking to move into a more senior position (HR generalist to HRBP). I’m a bit unsure how to translate my experience to show I can handle a HRBP role… any interview tips or recommendations on what sort of projects/work I should be highlighting? TIA & sorry to piggyback on this.
Some basic questions will be asked for sure. I second M1's comment but you should also prepare if ever they ask you what are your relevant skills and experiences to the role. Best of luck, OP!
