Opening in Deloitte India. DM for referral
Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.

You know how you can predict what's coming? Read the sow. That's the only thing that matters. You can predict what you need to do if you work back from what was contractually committed. Also, you can always start with a daily standup meeting. 15min max. "Success for today looks like..."
Hope that helps!
I can't get halfway through a task without a re-route or a pivot to another deliverable which I get but it's just so frantic
Schedule some time to go over "key responsibilities and deliverables" and maybe even make a document outlining those and how long you expect to spend on those items per week (or day?). Micro managers will love that you went the extra mile and they will enjoy seeing everything detailed out right in front of them. That opens the door to discussing how you'd like to be managed for those tasks
Over communication
Address the behavior and not the feelings. Consider communicating more what you're doing.
I think I'll wait two weeks before doing that @ACN1, we are firedrilling and there's no steady state to even guess or document upcoming tasks
Agh yeah that's a tough situation then. Stick it out and know that it'll get better! I've found it helps to figure out why someone is a micro manager. Is it from pressure above them? Are they simply bad at their job? Or perhaps this fire drill is making your manager act in ways they normally wouldn't but kind of need to right now. It usually comes from a good place but they don't understand that it isn't the most helpful
We are in the middle of starting the project so I know the work and what's happening but the day to day is just left and right ah!
