Used to work at Walmart in Commack NY as part of their Maintenance team, but they had the issue of understaffing where there was only a single maintenance person essentially doing the entire store with no form of back up, whenever they got a new person, they only work for a few day before they then decide to leave and they didn't even try to do anything to improve the condition.

Everything seemed to to fall on deafs ear with them. Even when working my hardest, nothing ever pleased them.

Gen questions for consultants who moved to MM PE, how is the work culture (cutthroat, competitive), stress (insane at closings), & ability to “unplug” on vaca/wknds at your firm?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. What is a fair salary/hourly for a kitchen manager in Tampa FL? Small kitchen with 3 to 4 kitchen assistants. Kitchen is open 50 hours a week. Manager has full creative license and has no one above them in the chain of command outside of owners.

Thinking of switching employers. Out of that only 117 have been viewed that’s 6% viewed! the hiring process is completely broken, human resources, managers, and hiring managers are not capable! The same jobs open for 2 1/2 yrs reposting salaries after interviewing 100 then cutting the salary by up to $50k They say can’t find people but they fire you in 90 days when your working 80 hours a week or people are walking!

Clopening is sooo draining, I can’t believe it’s legal to make people do that. Seriously, can we not make laws about this stuff?
