Was hired for an analyst type of role to gain more technical skills, instead I was placed at a client site where I’m basically a glorified teacher. How do I salvage my career at this point?

I like to pursue in the data science field. I have business Analyst experience but to switch to data science field could you guide me on what should I learn? Where should I start?

Six months ago a financial conglomerate offered me a position. The pay and benefits were really good so I took it. Now, I’ve realised this company is dangerously toxic so I deeply regret leaving the firm.

Past week my former manager asked me if I would have any interest in coming back so I said yes. Then she said she would have some conversations to test if it’s alright to bring me back in.
