You're probably the highest paid teacher in America.
Do a great job in the role and be honest with your project and practice lead about your preferences.
What are you teaching and what's the term of the engagement? Knock it out of the park and master the topic. Nothing challenges a person like trying to explain a topic so that others understand it as well.
What are you teaching? I feel like you don’t understand the analyst role and underestimate how hard teaching is. Deliver value for your client. If you get to pick up your technical skills, all the better.
Be a savage to your students!

I’m tasked with teaching proprietary software at the client site and I’m picking up skills on my own time. I’ve been getting great reviews and feedback but I can’t help but feel like I should be doing more
Thanks for your feedback so far btw
First, it sounds like you are doing a great job. That does deliver value — I am on the technical side but I think the roll out/ training is often insufficient. As long as you are building relationships and accomplishing your role, that is a great foundation. What “technical” skills do you want to acquire and why? Will it increase your pay? Increase your value to clients?
