“We feel free when we escape - even if it be but from the fire into the frying pan” - Eric Hoffer. Can anyone relate? Any regrets moving to a new company?

I recall starting a new job once and feeling like I'd made a horrendous mistake. Like the first few days everything just felt wrong. It's hard to explain, but before long things seemed to be okay and it finally worked out pretty well. I guess what I learned is that first impressions can just feel wrong, so it's good to have some patience.

This is absolutely true. I was laid off during covid from a job that I was miserable at and hated but it was a job nonetheless. Fastforward to now and had I not been laid off I would probably still be at that miserable job complaining about the same things but not looking for anything else.

Hi All, I’m thinking about getting certified in change management but not sure if I should go the Prosci route or CCMP route. CCMP is a lot cheaper compared to Prosci but would it measure up just the same?

I guess it would be similar to the discussion of the SHRM-SCP vs SPHR.
