We had a final pitch last Thursday. 2-3 agencies left in the mix. Meeting went good. Not perfect, but it was a strong showing. I know all the final presentations took place last week and I expected to hear a decision on Friday….and then Monday….and now Tuesday is over and not a word. The project is one of those “we needed it done yesterday”, so what do you think is happening on their end? My pessimistic side thinks they’re already negotiating with someone else. What say you?

Interviewing for a Sales Engineer role at a digital document security company. Part of the interview process is to give a 20 minute presentation on anything just has to be tech focused, it could be a past product I have sold or a side project I did. Hello, I would like to move to a position as a Software tester or QA analyst, I have done this before but only in a contract compacity back in 2011. Currently I have been in tech support for 8 yrs and I want to do something different. How do I go about pivoiting to a Software tester it would be a manual position because I only know enough coding to be dangerous...LOL

My colleagues and I had been notified that we would be required to work an extra weekend or after hours shift each month for the next four months. What our bosses forgot to tell us was that we would not be paid for this time. Administration is not taking pay cuts, only primary care doctors. First, we get no PPE; then, no PTO; now, no pay. I am grateful to have a job and this may not be justified, but I’m feeling bitter about this.

Then days AFTER submission I received an email from the consultant saying we now had until August. End of September rolls around and frankly I had forgotten about this 100-page beast.
