My vitamin D was below 10 and that seems to be making a difference but my stress level is astronomical so trying to get that lowered is the problem.
Have you tried a water fast for a couple of days? Give your body a break and allow it to reset. It does wonders.
You can start from a 16/8 and work your way up till you get to 24 or 48 hours.
Go on YouTube and you will find tons of help. Let me know if you still need some support.
I’m so sorry to hear about how you’ve been feeling.
Look into Parsley Health — they take a holistic approach and I think test various hormones, blood markers, etc that go beyond traditional, standard medicine
Thank you, I'll check them out!
I feel you. Been there, a but still there. Did you get your Vitamin D, thyroid levels checked?
I think they did.
This was 1000% me! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism but I manage it naturally with no medication. The game changer is to start out with a 10 day detox from sugar! And the. Adopt a low sugar diet. I rapid weight gained 25 pounds last year and couldn’t figure out why! It was my hormones! Research insulin resistance! I also add a liquid supplement geritol (which is high potency b vitamins) along with omega 3 fish oil vitamin d3 and a supplement called DIM that helps balance your estrogen level (research estrogen dominance)
This sounds like a lot but it works! After feeling so helpless I tried this routine and I was blown away!
It’s just eliminating sugar altogether for at least 10 days. That includes fruit as well . Now the crazy thing is - lots of things hide sugar so looking at ingredients is gonna be key. I had no idea that teriyaki sauce had like 35g of sugar for a serving g size of 2 tablespoons . Imagine how much I was eating when making teriyaki chicken with veggies thinking I was eating healthy 😂😂
A 20 ounce bottle of soda had like 80g of sugar.
I found really good substitutes that helped me during the no sugar detox and as I adopted a low sugar diet.
Get off all sugar, get off all booze. Try to eat more lean protein. Avoid carbs. Make sure you are getting enough water (more!) And try to get 7-8 hours of sleep. It sounds like you need a break!
Drinking alcohol is nutritionally empty calories, makes you lethargic, interrupts sleep because it metabolizes into sugar and you wake up like you've had 3 cups of coffee.
When we drink, we tend to eat more and be less mindful about what we are consuming, then too tired or buzzed to work out. Believe me, you will feel better if you take it out of your repertoire.
Dang felt that. Have you tried seeing a dr in integrative and functional medicine? Might be helpful to narrow things down to find the true root cause. I’m sorry you’re going through this tho 😕
Google: integrative and functional medicine or holistic/complementary therapies
I'd suggest a water fast and castor oil for the hair 1x a week after a wash and a delicate amount you should see my hair now 2yrs ago i was loosing hair now its supper fluffy I've been were you are also try doing at home yoga or pilates for like 15-20 min a day wake up earlier shower wash your face make ur coffee have some solo time and get into a Pilates or yoga sesh its great for de-stresssing and strengthens your core
I would also recommend checking out Dr. Berg and also Dr. Ekberg on YouTube. Both provide SO much information about the way our bodies work and how to fix things naturally. Excellent information that doctors won’t tell ya!
Have you tried taking a burnout assessment quiz? Some of the symptoms you are sharing seem like they are tied to burnout. Here is one you can try: https://kizunarawellness.com/pages/burnout-assessment-quiz
The questions are recognized by the NIH for accurately testing risk for burnout.
Has anyone ever done Dutch test?
High cortisol and inflammation
How have your stress levels been?
That sucks, I’m sorry! Stress will make any ailment worse than it would be otherwise. Maybe try finding a few things you can do per week to help manage stress (in addition to diet and exercise). Mindfulness and a little “you” time can go a long way.
Have you gone to a Gyno (not Ob) that specializes in hormone balance? I only ask as you named a lot of my syptoms. After years of docs telling me everything is “in range” I switch to an Ob that really helped me she started treating me for insulin resistance and it has helped me my weight, energy, sleep and concentration.
I highly recommend giving metformin a shot if your Dr put it on the table. It’s made a world of difference to me and as I’ve research it it sounds like it can have many other health benefits to women as well age.
It sounds like long COVID
That's a clear thyroid issue. Vitamin D and B can help greatly with that. Thyroid issues are easy to miss and you must be tested several times. Most medical doctors do the bare minimum or more superficial blood work. I went to a more wholistic doctor who went into great detail in my blood work up. Such a difference.
